Founder & CEO of Rubicon

Ms. Randa Ayoubi is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rubicon, a global company, headquartered in Amman, Jordan. Rubicon specializes in the use of CGI Technology in education and entertainment. Having started Rubicon as a small venture capital project, Randa spearheaded a dynamic, multi-faceted, business growth transforming the company into a global powerhouse with 5 international branches and more than 300 employees.

Ms. Ayoubi is the Chairperson of the Red Sea Institute for Cinematic Art, a graduate school in Aqaba Jordan empowered by the University of Southern California (USC) Film School. She serves on the board of trustees of the King's Academy, a Jordan based, progressive, regional coed boarding high school founded by His Majesty King Abdullah II.

Ms. Ayoubi also serves on the Royal Commission for Education Reform in Jordan and on the board of trustees of the Children’s Museum in Amman – the first museum in the Middle East dedicated for children. She is also a founding member of the International Women Forum (IWF), Jordan Chapter, as well as a founding member of the Information Technology Association of Jordan (Intaj) and has served on its board and as head of its Human Resources Development Committee for two consecutive terms. Randa is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO).

Winner of many awards, Ms. Ayoubi was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Young Entrepreneur Association in Jordan, and the regional Entrepreneur Award by Arabian Business in 2004. Ms. Ayoubi was named as number 11 on the list of Most Influential Women in the Middle East, published by the Economist in 2007. And most recently Ms. Ayoubi has been awarded “Businesswoman of the Year” at the CEO Middle East Awards 2010.
